P.F. Chang’s – Destiny USA (Syracuse) | $$ Saturday, May 2 – 5:00 PM Stopped in mid-afternoon—restaurant is a good size and just under half full. Got a seat at the bar right away, but service took about 15 minutes to get started. Once it did, staff was friendly and attentive. Started with the Rising Dragon Margarita. Presentation looked good, though it was missing the signature smoke effect. Flavor made up for it—smooth, balanced, and not overly heavy on the tequila. 8.9/10 Ordered the Orange Chicken with Lo Mein. Chicken was well done—crispy outside, tender inside, and nicely coated without being too heavy. Orange flavor was noticeable but not overpowering. 8.2/10 Lo Mein had good texture with a strong garlic presence—maybe slightly heavy, but still enjoyable. 8/10 Atmosphere is dim and relaxed, typical of the brand. Overall: Solid food and drinks with a slower start on service. Good option if you’re at the mall and not in a rush.

Not only is P.F. Chang’s delicious, but it also had the most affordable drinks we found in the mall. I ordered their specialty cocktail, the Lunar Elixir, which was sweet and really good. My husband got the blackberry whiskey cocktail special, and that was great as well. We shared the Chang’s Lettuce Wraps and both ordered the orange chicken with brown rice. Everything was delicious! Our server was very nice, too. It does get pretty busy, especially on weekends, so there may be a short wait. We would definitely return next time we’re in town!

Food was okay. I was not overly impressed. The lettuce wraps were delicious but that is about all. The service was lackluster especially because they were not very busy. I kept thinking it was because of my grandson but it should not have mattered.

I stopped in around 2 PM on Sunday 2/15/2026 and while the kitchen ran a bit slow with about an hour wait, the relaxed atmosphere made the delay easier to overlook. The highlight of the visit was our server James, whose attentiveness and professionalism really stood out. He handled a mistaken dish with grace and removed it from the bill without hesitation. My entrée was enjoyable, though I expected a bit more vibrancy and vegetable presence in the noodles. Even so, the ambience and service made for a pleasant experience, and I’d return to explore more of the menu!
